Kent Court is the worst Kent Police are the worst

Apparently got a speeding ticket from a camera 6 years ago, never got a letter or a ticket in the mail, never received a court date, phone call or anything. They sent me to collections and 6 years later I get a letter from a collections agency and none of it shows up on my credit report. Court house lady didn't have any useful information about it, just " I'm done arguing about this how would you like to pay". There needs to be more effort to contact people about tickets, not just mail a letter to who knows we're just so they can say they sent it.

i agree with others that the guards and staff are very nice and polite, might also add the prohbation dept as well. If you havevto ua make sure not to loose your card with color line phone#. not only is it not listed anywhere on their website (even if it worked correctly) but . called in to proh. dept. to ask for number and when i said i dont have a phone i didnt evem have enough time to find a pen before being told the number and hung up on. i understand they have to deal with bs all day. so i dont think this counts as them being mean maybe just slightly ignorant, considering if i miss a day i go to jail.... also it is always PACKED inside court rooms with no where to sit sometimes even stand. the inside of building and by front door are kept pretty clean but definately a old building in need of much repair/remodel. Even some color might help it looks the same as the jail (kinda depressing).

I work for Al'ta Counseling in Tacoma and meaning we have occasional contact with Kent Municipal court employees, either by phone or fax. I gotta say that EVERY TIME I have called with a question, the staff who answer the phone are always incredibly kind, helpful and friendly so with that being said, THANK YOU folks! Kindness wins the game, every time!

The municipal court does not have jurisdiction for divorces. You have to file that at the superior court. Look for the MRJC in Kent.
I hate to tell you this you can't cancel but here is the number 253 856 4787
Thank u good morning so deside to look one last time and bingo I find the paper work 😉😂🤣🤣
You go in the front doors with your infraction, go through security check and too the left is a window with a person.
Go down there
All I know is I got mine on second floor at the regional Justice center. Not sure you can get them here. Sorry can't remember about cost.
No. You have to go to a local Superior Court for a divorce matter (Norm Maleng Regional Justice Center is just down the street). Municipal courts handle infraction and a wide range of misdemeanor/gross misdemeanor criminal cases.
Go to the king county recorders office in the Elections Building: 919 SW Grady Way Renton WA 98057. I went to the courthouse and they sent me there.
Courts ushally tuesday or thursday 8:45 or 1

No I did not but I know they're dealing with passport also
You go to the Regional Justice center for that. 401 4th Ave N
Either Alliance One or Signal Management. Window 3

The only way to find that out is for you to call the court directly.
Call 911. Better yet, text them. Ask for a Man by the name of Jim Rogers. Tell 'em Big Sky sent'cha.
In the lobby there are two monitors side by side. Names appear alphabetically along with the time to appear and the court room number. If you have questions just ask the security officers , they are friendly and helpful.
No parking garage in this court, but there is one in the regional justice center in Kent, a much bigger courthouse, and I'm sure they have cameras.
Each department is a little different
I do not know for sure 😊

Just show up & apologize for your tardiness.
