Such an amazing place. Even in the midst of covid-19 they are still helping women and their families with shelter, job searches, and so much more. The people who work here have a true calling to help those who need it. Very impressive.

They provide hot meals, laundry, showers. Along with housing and employment recourses. In addition to the day center they also have an overnight shelter also. They staff truly cares and does everything they possibly can to assist the clients.

It's a lot less scary to live in a shelter then I had thought it would be. Most everyone here both staff and other "guests" are AMAZING

The Union Gospel Mission distribution center in Kent 8:30 to 4:30
If your friend is a female this is a great place to stay....MUCH better than shelters downtown! Call ahead to see if there's space though because they only accept a set number of females each month. This isn't a hotel by any means... You have to be in by 8pm and doors are locked between 10pm and 5am. Also there aren't beds...instead you're given a mat and 2 blankets... On the bright side everything is clean with no bedbugs and they serve 3 meals a day -- the food is awesome!
Depends on if your family member wants you to know or not... they would more then likely ask... give them your number and they would probably give it to family member to call if they what to or not

Yes anything for women and children help the program... please donate anything for them.
