Very impressed with this company. I called and they were at my house within an hour! Quick and informative and got the job done. My AC went out in my shop and they had it fixed in 45 mins. Edit: they came out and ran a water line to my pasture for the animals. Very easy to work with and got it done quickly.

That depends, do you know if it's a power vent? If it has a metal flue coming off the top then yes the pilot should always be on.
