A nice place to stop and let the kids out to stretch there legs. Also has little educational signs to help everyone understand more about the area

Yes. Just make sure to take whatever they leave and not anything else 🐶 and keep them on leash and watched carefully there are lots of beautiful but dangerous things out there in the world...in the taller grasses especially (snakes, bugs, etc)

Is this a place that you can drive around to different places, or do you have to hike to get to the good places?

Typically you can drive to the scenic spots, but some roads may be closed due to high water with heavy rains the last several months. Best to call the Quivira Refuge visitor's center for current status.
