The perfect trail stop in Rocheport. Still excellent after the ownership change.

Terrible place. Staff was rude. Wouldn’t sell us a cup of coffee to go. Insisted we must be seated and be on the waitlist. For cyclists, DO NOT GO HERE. They don’t want your business!

Amazing cafe and bike shop. Great, friendly staff and beautiful menu for breakfast ( which is served all day) or lunch. Beautiful location right off the Katy trail. We rented bikes and when we returned sat outside for brunch. Hubby ordered pancakes, which were delicious and I ordered half size of vegetarian huevos ranchers, which was utterly delicious and a perfect portion. Service was super quick and friendly. Would not hesitate to come back if we are ever in the area again.

What a great little café that is willing to cater to the armpits of society. A group of friends and I visited the Meriwether Café on Sunday 10/23/2022. It was a gorgeous day despite a little rain. There was a bit of a wait as to be expected on such a beautiful Sunday at brunch time. Fortunately, the overwhelmed staff were gracious and patient. I later found out their head cook was out and only one experienced server was working; not a huge shock considering it was Mizzou homecoming weekend and the majority of the staff is college-aged. It was a less than perfect dining experience being a little windy and there were an unfortunate amount of brave yellow jackets that wanted my mimosa and pancake syrup! This of course is no fault of the restaurant who like most are not able to predict what mother nature is going to do that day. A gust of wind lifted an umbrella causing a table to tip, breaking a few glasses. Some lady went absolutely insane on the staff (again, the weather, not the staff's fault). I’d never seen Karen personified so perfectly until then, and I worked retail for eight years! If I were her, I'd be so embarrassed. Our server, Avery, was a delight. She handled Karen with poise. The rest of the staff did what they could to deescalate the situation, honestly giving in a little too much if you ask me. It made for a memorable dining experience, nonetheless. The other tables bonded with ours over how ridiculous some people can be. I heard a rumor Karen won’t be returning, so have no fear! Visit the Meriwether Café and enjoy a delicious, affordable meal from great people. I highly recommend the fries and breakfast potatoes. The homemade granola is out of this world as well. See you next time!

Although normal hours suggest they will, it's always a good idea to check since its still the "off season"
