Tessa has been very helpful. Getting good vibes from this company already. Hopefully I’ll get hired. Some papers are still pending. But, will see what’s up. I know people that works here that are happy with there pay here. So, kinda looking forward to working on one of there vessel so I can make some money.

Welp, if you happen to think this pays well you're right. But, that is only after 16hrs of manual labor with less then 6hrs of sleep on average for 2 months. Not to mention the huge expense of gear and items needed for life at sea coming out of your paycheck. Then if you break contract they take flight expenses on top of that. If you value your safety, health, and free will I would say really give this a second thought before signing that contract. I'm surprised more posts don't discuss these issues. I was put on their oldest ship so maybe my first time was unique to most. But, nothing about my experience was worth it in my opinion. Accept of course meeting interesting people and just adapting to life at sea. Considering the amount of time and energy I put in does make my paycheck a bit insulting. Did I mention that the fish at the end of my second trip had literally tons of fish contaminated with sewage water and thusly couldn't be put up for market? Meaning money out of our shares..

I can't speak for all their boats but Seafreeze America is probably the worst boat you can be on. The management has no idea what their doing. No training what so ever. They preach safety but practice nothing but mass production. Unless you're ok with working up to your knees in rotting fish, being yelled at by a bunch of prison guard rejects, and earning $4 an hour, I wouldn't recommend this company. That boat needs some serious help from real engineers that do more then just walk around with their coffee and flashlight. Horrible functionality.

Great place to work for, nice people to be around with. Very helpful workers and very positive and loving stuff in the office, to be guide by. You have to love the people around this company. Way to go.

Pay is based on crewshare, species being caught and processed, fish prices, and how much time each trip takes (1 trip = time it takes to fill the hold). Example: you have 2 crew shares, and just finished a trip of yellowfin sole that took a week. Depending on market value, maybe the shares come out to value $600 each. You make $1200 that trip. The next trip, the boat focuses on Pacific Ocean Perch, it takes 12 days, and shares come out to $1000 each. You make $2000 this trip. Crew shares vary based on experience, position, and work performance. It's also important to note that all your food and lodging on the boat is covered by the company. So is your plane ticket, provided you complete your contract. Aside from taxes, everything you make is profit.
Don’t waste your time believe me Much better company’s out there Stay away from them they are in debt Speaking from experience This is the last company you want to work for Their boat infected the whole town of Dutch Harbor with the COVID-19

Yes
The company is located in Seattle, but operates in Alaska. Pay per trip is based on crewshare.
They are international, so they are probably already there.
