Wonderful Chef’s Table. Would recommend in a heart beat. Thoughtfully presented delicious food and wine pairings in a wonderfully low-key environment. Probably the best value meal I’ve had in the Puget Sound.

We normally love the place but the experience on this visit was worthy of repeating a story how bad it was. After going through two bottles of chilled water in our group of five while waiting, another bottle was given to us that was apparently lukewarm tap water. We could only order on line after looking over all the delicious choices and when asked to prepay at the time of ordering we were required to pay a 20% charge for dining in. We ordered an appetizer of Bleu cheese, pear, lavender honey, and a baguette; it was delivered without the baguette because they said they were out. We returned it, but were still charged for it. We asked for ice for our drinks; they were out. Two of us ordered an albacore pasta meal. It looked and tasted like ground venison or something; the chef insisted it was albacore. Meanwhile, the beet salad was amazing. I very, very rarely post a bad review. I give places much benefit of the doubt. But this was inexcusable in so many ways. I hope these things get corrected as normally we have very much enjoyed Earthen Bistro

Second time here, during a quick trip to pickup some presents on the island. What a gem this place truly is.

Amazing local Vashon Island sourced food. Great patio to sit outside in the summer. Friendly staff. Good wine selection. We three courses meal. Started with a salad and a cheese and meat board. The main dishes ver fantastic. Really yummy freshly made pasta. You can order those also as small portions for kids. Highly recommend. Perfect visit for a day on the island.

I’m not really offering lunch at this point. If you want to do soup and salads off the dinner menu that’s fine. Cheers Chris
Usually people leave their dogs on the porch as the dining room is rather small. Cheers Chris
Many of the small plates are gluten & dairy free, and entrees can usually have sides subbed for tasty alternatives!
Nope. But they do have mimosas with brunch and a nice wine selection.
