Love this pool. I believe it's the most expensive in Joplin, but it's also the newest and has the most to offer. It's also still quite affordable. There are several slides, a kiddy playground, a lazy river, and an Olympic sized pool. The Olympic pool has a rock wall and basketball goal in it. There is also a snack bar. My family loves going here.

Adults 6.50 children 5.50 Or they have season passes. Well worth it if you plan on going a lot.

No pool is closed till Saturday and Sunday.
There are some shaded areas, and several areas you can sit. The shade moves around, of course, but the bleacher-type, deck-chair-shaped area is shaded for most of the business hours by a large building. You just have to get there early enough to claim a spot.
Hi, Abby. We have a zero depth pool on the side of the facility that is adjacent to the lazy river. It's a great place to sit and splash with babies!
Best to just st go by there as they really don't answer their phone
The facility closed to the public on August 11. The Doggy Dive In was scheduled a week after the facility closed to allow the pool chemicals to dissipate so they would not harm the animals.
Shifferdecker pool is officially closed for this summer. Yesterday was our last day. Cunningham pool will be open on the weekends up until labor day weekend

Schifferdecker Aquatic Center is closed 2 weekends each summer for area swim teams to host regional meets. These dates are posted at the facility and website, and due to the closure, the other 2 aquatic centers are open. Weather depending, Schifferdecker is open all other weekends.

We can open if it's just raining. It depends on the day's forecast and air temperature. If we do open, we have a policy where if there is a lightning strike within 10 miles, all activities are suspended until 30-minutes after the last strike of lightning is outside our 10-mile radius and/or the last sound of thunder is heard. Please note, if we are open and need to close the remainder of the day, we will issue rain checks.
Per our rules, rafts and floats are prohibited. Coast Guard approved life jackets are allowed.

Sometimes they have swim classas and other things after the pool closes.and thats y they close early. Also i here they have a shortege of life guards this ur.
Only opened in the weekend until next week. Labor day weekend is last weekend they are open.
