Dropped off my wedding clothes on Monday morning, was told everything would be ready by Wednesday after 4pm. Get there Wednesday and only 1 vest is ready, they tell me everything will be done by Thursday at noon. Thursday comes and I call and they tell me everything might be done by Friday evening. This was for 6 white dress shirts, 1 vest and 3 pairs of jeans. I understand that they could be backed up or short staffed but don’t tell me one time to pick up, then move it, then move it again and I might get my clothes then. Will not be back, do not recommend.

They did a poor job on my husband's shirts which I had to re-ironed when I came home. When Brigit & her husband owned the business never had a problem but when they sold it like 3-4 yrs ago, it was never close up to the minimum expectations. When u read this review, check what year was written (5 yrs ago was owned by Brigit & hubby - both retired). I never had a complain about their work & the ladies were amazing!

I would suggest to NEVER use Southtown Cleaners. My husband and I dropped a suit off on Tuesday being told it would be ready by Thursday, or Friday at the latest. We called yesterday and spoke to a lady who rudely told me “ma’am we are short staffed so we don’t have it.” I explained we need it for a wedding and she said she would call me back. The rest of the day yesterday the phone was off. This morning I called at 9:00 Sharp when they posted they were open and spoke to the same lady who said “ma’am as I told you yesterday, it’s at the warehouse in Webb city and I don’t have it, but let me call the ware house and I’ll call you back.” I hadn’t heard back in over 40 minutes. I showed up to the business today where there is a white paper sign up that says closed until Monday now, and nobody answering the phone.
