I have grown up in Lebanon and they have always helped those in need. when i was homeless they helped me and my friend to get a motel room so we where not on the streets granted it was only for a few days but it helped so much.

I tried to report a theft from my Dad’s vehicle that occurred in Lebanon by phone. He doesn’t live in the area, and he has a hard time hearing on the phone. The Officer refused to take a report over the phone and told me that they never take reports over the phone. I never heard of that, and questioned it, asking to speak to his Supervisor. The Supervisor Sgt. Rigsby never called me, so I called back and the office clerk told me that he had called my number and a Spanish speaker answered. Well the phone was with me the whole time, and unfortunately I don’t know how to speak Spanish. So anyhow once I got on the phone with him, he told me they do take reports over the phone, if you are the victim. So I called my Dad to verify that my name was on the title and it was, so I called back to the station, and was told someone would call me. They called my Dad instead and told him to come on down to the station, because he was having trouble hearing them. So now my 88 year old Dad has to make a special trip to Lebanon, to make a petty theft report for insurance purposes. I wrote an email to the Police Chief and he never responded. So Congratulations on getting out of writing a little paper. Very unprofessional.
