If you’re looking for a place that gets you in and out this isn’t one you want to go to. Checked in at 5:45 pm and they didn’t get us out of there until after 7:30. They also let 7 people ahead of us (that checked in after us.) I asked why and they said they go by urgency, whilst my two year old came in with a bad cough, runny nose and diarrhea but it wasn’t “severe enough” to get us back quickly. Annoyed is an understatement. Never going back here and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Very disorganized.

Was there for a friend and the staff was friendly and efficient. They were busy but did not appear rushed when helping you. The doctor was very good and kind to my friend. Radiology very efficient

Didn’t help me at all, left me to decide what i wanted to get tested for (how would i know that’s why i’m at the doctor) was so rude on the phone when telling me my results and left me with a 102° fever for three days with only the option of “coming in again”. Didn’t say which medicines to take or how to treat it. Why would I come in again for them to ask me what I want to do? That’s what a doctor is for.

Every single time I take my children or myself here I wonder if they even listen to me speak at all. I brought my very sick child in today and I read the report later and the dr said that he was not lethargic! I'm not sure what his opinion of lethargy is but my son was literally sleeping in a chair crying to lay down because he felt so awful. They also put completely wrong information in the report, literally the opposite of what I said. After the dr made a diagnosis he prescribed him medication and told us it was already sent to our preferred pharmacy. I went to go pick it up and it wasn't even in the right town! I even was asked our preferred pharmacy when we checked in and specifically said the pharmacy and street name (it's also a very commonly known pharmacy, especially in Columbia.) Urgent care was closed by the time we figured this out and I called the emergency room to have the script sent to Walmart. The pharmacist then had to call the hospital because the script was written incorrectly. The pharmacist said "the script doesn't even make sense". Just awful. I'd rather pay full price at an urgent care that doesn't accept our insurance than return here. This is not the first time something like this has happened and I certainly won't be letting it happen again. After a trip to the ER where the drs there barely examined my son and said that the doctor at urgent care had already made a diagnosis and that they were not going to do anymore testing. MU has to stick together I guess. A few days later my son was still sick. Took him to the pediatrician and it was strep. Had they done the chest xray I asked for they would have been able to see it was NOT pneumonia. Do Better.

Questions & Answers

Can I go there with no insurance?

They usually ask for $50 upfront, but yes, they will see you without being insured. As pertaining to the other answer, on occasion there is a code issue depending on the insurance company, so calling back would be advisable. They will refund billing errors if you've already paid but still attempt to rectify it. It's a pain, but with as many insurance companies as they deal with, it does happen from time to time. If you were charged thousands (emergency room, yes, if you needed that level of care, though, an urgent care would've sent you by self or by ambulance to the ER), your insurance more than likely paid nothing and you need to call them. It's usually not the UC but the billing language your insurance company tries to use to get out of paying.
