The Nixa Police Department is amazing at harassing you for no apparent reason. They love pulling you over and questioning you with zero reasonable suspicion. They will go as far as to follow you until you get to your destination, then park right behind you and start grilling you. I wish I could give zero stars or less, because even one star is being extremely generous. If you're looking to get pulled over by suspicious, judgemental, low IQ individuals that enjoy shining their flashlights directly in your eyes and are really bad at their jobs, I highly suggest driving through Nixa at night. (Or at any time for that matter) Chances are you will get to interact with these complete bozos.

They have been giving out my address to random people trying to get me for drug distribution charges. They’ve been harassing me for the year I’ve lived in Nixa. They’ve officially put my family in harms way while they try to investigate me. After a full investigation was already done within the last 12 months…..

I'm extremely paranoid about getting pulled over by nixa. I work late hours in Nixa, as i clean an office building at night. So I'm traveling late. I've had two concerning experiences lately. The first was a female officer that asked for my license. When I reached for my wallet, the only thing laying on the passenger seat, she jumped back and shined her light up on the dash and put her hand on her gun. I immediately freaked and told her I was just getting my ID she asked for. I was scared. She was extremely rude and aggressive I told her I was waiting for my friend to text me the insurance card, as it was a borrowed car I was using ..she told me she wasn't going to wait for me to get it and seemed really agitated This second time the officer kept his flashlight in my face. So I couldn't even find the unlock windows button to roll the window down. So he opened my door and stuck his head in looking around. I literally couldn't even look him in the face because he kept his flashlight in my eyes so that was a little scary not being able to even see....I didnt get any kind of ticket either time for anything.... Part of me was scared the first one was just going to shoot me. I've never had such experiences with police officers. I don't know what is going on here. But there is absolutely no reason to be so aggressive and intimidating. I clean a federal building! I have no record. I have never been in any trouble. It's really sad that it has come to fearing the police. If the intimidation stops keep going, I may no longer be able to work my late night extra job there in Nixa. My anxiety cannot handle being traumatized by intimidating police.
