I would give the station a higher rating if I could actually enter the waiting room to catch the 2:19 a.m. train in the middle of January. The sign on the door says the ticket office is closed on the weekend but the waiting room is open 1-4 a.m. It wasn’t.

This place is ran poorly. Local trains stop halfway on track. And don't move sometimes 45 minutes. People have jobs. Are late regularly due to poor management. Such as stopping train before its covering a track if its not going anywhere 30 minutes or more.. I've lived with Southern Pacific all my life. Moved here. This is the worst lack or organization I've ever seen. As a retired Truck driver I've encountered trains coast to coast almost 30 years.. Worst management I've ever seen. This is not a one time or even 10 time incident. This is several times a day. No respect or consideration is used when planning. OR engineers lack traininh

Yes there is between the post office and the cash advance there is a free long term
2 carry on at 25 lbs each and 2 regular at 50lbs each. You will end up taking care of your own luggage most of the trip if not all as it's not like an airport where you check in your baggage. Keep that in mind as your packing.

There is an attendant at night when both the eastbound and westbound arrive between 2:15 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. but not all day. The station has seating inside. Other businesses are also in the building so it is usually open but not staffed.
30 mins before train arrives and 30 mins after last train or bus for the day..he pops in every now and again and will update u on the train or bus status
