Writing this while on hold: I was calling to ask a couple questions, and possibly schedule an appointment, I was on hold for five minutes initially, where they answered the phone to put me on hold again. I'm now over 30 minutes on hold and haven't even had the chance to say hello. Edit: I was on hold a total of 45 minutes, while I was on hold I called in on a different number and then the call that was on hold magically gets answered! Almost like I was put on hold and forgotten about, it's fine I was referred to this place for a dental emergency requiring surgical extraction (another reason to call and find out if that can even happen here) that is actively killing me from the infection. When my call was answered I was given a very good fake empathy medical receptionist tone: cool that's appreciated somewhat. When told the appointments are crazy far out, asked if it could be checked in the CHC network for availability, or even transferred and was just told, "nah you can just call them we don't schedule for other locations" there's a huge difference between helping and being dismissive, fake empathy or not. Half of the people in the medical industry empathize with people as much as a mechanic does with cars. (I take that back: I'm sure some mechanics do treat cars nice)

I like the offices. I like the people. But when checking my medical info the system is messed up cant find any of my medical infor from past to currant. The app they say they have doesn't work. Wish they would use the mychart app like everyone else in the area. It would make things so much easier.

I have only been here for the Doctors which is downstairs. I believe dental Is upstairs. The location is great, right off of the highway. Never had an issue with parking, the front desk staff is a little dry but not all the time and they're always courteous. I haven never had to wait more then 10 minutes from sitting down to being called back. My biggest complaint is with the Dr himself. I'm sorry Dr. Ing, but as well-informed as you came off initially I hate that you always seem to use the answer that makes you job a little easier. Not 100 of the time but by and large I felt that answers were given, as informative as they were, as a way to minimize efforts. I've never felt that the Dr. Was here to serve my best interests more so than to simply make it through the vast number of clients that flow through everyday. I have some sympathy but when in the role of a medical doctor I think emotional understanding, an expressed care for the patient and desire to pursue all options to a narrowed answer and even facilitating a comfortable environment should be high on the list. Other than that it's a good location.

My overall care experience here has been bad. Even though the interaction with doctor on the day was good, they went mute after that day. It took them 4 weeks to come back with results and even that was because of constant reminder messages/calls from me. I still haven't got closure. Responses to messages don't happen, have to follow up multiple times. I did not go here for any subsidy - and paid the full charges. I expect justice to that cost, which doesn't seem to happen here. Better look for other service provider if you are not claiming any subsidies.

Lisa and Miah are always so great i totally agree!
The Community Health Center of Snohomish County DOES offer walk-in services for residents, according to their website. However, if you have the time to call ahead and make an appointment, it would be helpful. The clinic can get very hectic at times. An appointment would ensure that you are in and out the door as quickly as possible.
They might not have known the right process. Try calling a different location and informing them about your situation.
They also have a walk in dental office for urgent care
They do sliding scale based on your income. They take a $25 deposit at the walk-in clinic till they decide based on your income how much you would be charged. I have found they are always willing to help you if they can in any way.
LYNNWOOD CLINIC IS BASICALLY A WALK IN CLINIC. THERE IS A RN,1 Primary,2 Ped, OB on different days during the week. It is important to establish with a Primary care provider to make an appointment to get help with this. You can contact CHC itself to get more information.
Blood draws and immunization at Lynnwood are done on a walk in basis, no appointment, but there may be a wait time.

Just use a small ice pack . That's going to be the fastest and most effective
