They don't see sick people. It's ridiculous. And a year later, they still don't see sick people. I had a problem with gastritis and they sent me to the emergency room. These people have lost their minds. Obviously, we have moved on to real doctors.

Be warned! Founders Family Medicine & Urgent Care is running a fraudulent practice when it comes to their billing and provide subpar care. If I could give this practice zero stars I would. The only thing I can do is warn others NOT to go there. I called prior to being seen so that there would not be surprise billing. Was told the cost of an office visit was $157 and could be lower depending on insurance. I received a bill for almost $300 for the office visit alone. Beth Hoekstra ordered an ultrasound which was a needless test given that I had a hiatel hernia (which she also failed to diagnosis). This practice also used a billing code for *unnecessary* lab work that was not authorized by my insurance. I have been trying to get them to fix it, which should be a simple thing, except the lead medical assistant refuses to call myself or my insurance back. We have spoken to Ricky and Erica but each time they claim they cannot assist us and we need to speak with the 'lead medical assistant'. This person neither takes our calls (we've called 5 times) nor returns phone calls. This is truly unacceptable and the office should be accountable for their unethical business practices.
