A month of being given the run around to be told "we can't help you" misinformation in files, weeks of "processing" referral wasn't even started on. Why even waste the money

UPDATE: Decreasing this to one star. The practice manager and I talked and he assured me he would get this $5 taken care of. Now they are sending me to collections over $5 which I don't actually owe due to a billing error for a procedure I never had. New West's customer service is the absolute worst and they have no care whatsoever for their patients. Stay away! --------- I chose to leave this office 2.5 years ago (pre-COVID) after a number of bad experiences with everything from issues with scheduling, rude front desk staff, referrals that took forever, and bad medical diagnosis. I am still getting bills for my last visit in Jan 2020. Looking at the details, there are constant credits and debits against my account from "insurance". I have never seen any other physician's office do this. Furthermore, I was charged for services that were not even performed and I didn't get any resolution on that either. I called again today to see if we could just zero out the account and close it; instead of caring about customer relationships they further demonstrated to me I made the right choice to find a new PCP by insisting that the $5 was a big deal to them and that I could continue to be open to further "adjustments" for the next 5 years! When I joined this practice 12 years ago, they were fine, then they got bought / merged twice and now they are a major pain to deal with. I definitely heard them bilking Medicare patients the last time I was in there - couldn't even bother to separate the waiting room from their administrative staff. My recommendation is there are many better places you could go to in the immediate area for your health care needs. One final example: they paste the same form reply on every negative comment here (if they even reply at all) rather than provide a specific, direct phone number and an acknowledgement of the concern (with specifics). Seriously...don't waste your time.

I’ll start off by saying I’ve been to many, many, many health care providers as I’ve had health problems my entire life. This is top 3 worst experiences. I lost my Kaiser insurance so was forced to find another provider. The tech didn’t know what my heart medication was or could even find it in the system, typed in everything I told her inaccurately and asked what I wanted refilled. I could have said opiates and she would have refilled. It was clear she was not experienced in the medical field whatsoever. Office is very junky and did not seem clean. I needed blood work and walked out to schedule and the front desk ladies said “we are leaving, we aren’t going to schedule you right now. Call later” to myself and another patient in a snotty tone. Terrible patient care. I was showing up with serious concerns (heart issues and just got out of the hospital). I’ve never been asked so little questions in my life at a doctors visit. I could have been dying and they wouldn’t have even assessed that. My Apple Watch provides more useful care. Will NEVER be back.

I contacted the office to transfer , Person who answer to the phone was very rude. I will think twice before to call again. My first experience with person who is in charge with new patience was worst ever they will need to train her or to change it. After one week I reached at Front Desk and talk with a very nice lady,her name is Terry.It ended up getting my transfer to my Doctor who moved to the clinic.Then I found it person who I talk first time it was a call center not from clinic.I hope they will make contact with an other call center with better training personal.
