A new low has been reached. Easily the worst food that I had paid for. I ordered the smoked chicken enchiladas. The beans were hard and over cooked, the cheese was burnt, the lettuce wilted, and the peppers were not even cooked. The worst part though was the chicken. It was cubed and rubbery just like bad campbell noodle soup chicken. The chips and salsa were the most shocking because I've had better from a cold can. Don't expect anything more than hot watery salsa that reeks and tastes gross. All the while the staff says "Our opinion is the only one that matters". Right afterwards I just went to Cafe Mexicali instead, a 5 minute walk away. They are reliable, never bland, and with delicious ingredients. Just don't bother.

The dining area is not appetizing, there were a number of flies at the table. The table itself was sticky and likely contributing to the flies. The booths were terribly uncomfortable, the back rest is a vertical piece of flat wood paneling. There was a single server during lunch hour, I do not know how this is expected to work, but as you can assume one person is not sufficient for more than a table or two. From time after ordering to food arriving, was 22 minutes, and the food was overcooked to the point of burnt edges on the enchiladas, and overall dried out. The smoked chicken enchiladas were a let down, there did not seem to be any seasoning to speak of, the food was bland. Same story with the beans and rice, with the rice also being overcooked. Having eaten texmex numerous times in Texas, I can say with assurance this is not texmex and I would not recommend this restaurant for any reason.
