Never did wood working before. Learned about this class and wanted to learn a new skill. Tracy was a wonderful instructor patient and knowledgeable. After the beginner class I signed up right away for the intermediate class. I was able to build what I was wanting for years a fire place with storage. I Able to use all of with tools safely and confidently with Tracy and her other instructors near by.

I took a week long intensive cabinet making course with Tracy. I've taken a few classes before where I would make a table or small project. This class was totally different and better in every way. Tracy's experience teaching college courses really showed when she would describe a concept like 'flareout' where the wood is like a bundle of straws. I learned that different wood type expands and the design has to account for that. There was total flexibility in the design and I now feel totally confident using a table saw, router, jointer, planer and chop saw. By the end of the week I could not only comfortable make dovetail joints in a matter of minutes but also I could understand how I could do even more. I couldn't recommend working with Tracy and higher. She's an incredible instructor and I loved spending my week in her class. 5/5 stars barely do her class justice
