It’s my first Vestas factory where Vestas trained me. The team is humble and polite. The trainer John Quist is my all time best trainer. I met many brilliant colleagues there. I never saw the repair skills before I met them though I have been in blade manufacturing for more than 14 years. Thanks Windsor team to keep on moving Vestas forward and setting a benchmark in the global wind market.

For a tanker unload, it was 2+ hours waiting because the operator was at a dentist appt. I really don't know how to feel about this.

The factory is open 24/7. 12 hour shifts. Depending on which set you are on is whether you work Sundays or not.
I think you can print them out. It asks if you want paper or paperless. From the n14. Ultipro
The crane operators make more money in Vestas than me who works in finish department
It just depends on which team your in and the department you're in. Most rotate. 12 hour shifts.
It really depends. I would suggest a follow up phone call to make sure they got your application.
It depends. If we're doing direct hire, then yes www.vestas.com will work. If we're going through temp to hire you'll have to find out which agency (Aerotek, Manpower etc) we're using and apply through them. You could also call the local branch and ask what's the best way to apply.
Because the work is hard and the pay is slightly below average. Also strict drug testing policy. It's not for everyone, but if you like working with your hands, and being in green energy, check it out.
Ironically enough, not at this facility. While employees have inquired many times about installing a turbine, wind studies in the area have indicated that there isn't enough wind in the Windsor area (more irony) to be able to use a wind turbine feasibly. Local zoning processes also add hindrance to installing a structure of that magnitude. The Brighton Vestas facility is blocked from putting up a turbine due to its proximity to Denver International Airport and FAA regulations. The Vestas facility in Pueblo, however, does have a functioning turbine on the grounds helping to power the facility and offset energy costs. Suggestions of installing solar panels have been met with looks one typically reserves for meeting someone with three heads.
