Had an unusual request for 1/4 x 1/4 inch flat square molding. Trio salesman took the time to figure out the best and economical solution to accomplish this. Although it was a small order, he was able to supply my request early the next morning. A+ for customer service and patience! Would definitely co tact them for any wood related projects.

Hi Joshua, I buy my lumber from Trio. I would recommend you stop in to Trio and check it out for yourself. The sales staff is friendly and patient with questions from new woodworkers. They will help you decide what material is best for your project, give you a printed price list, and cut the lumber free of charge. As for cedar, it depends on how much you want to spend. I started with birdhouses I build outdoor ornamental lighthouses, wishing wells, and the like, along with Adirondack furniture , deck cabinets and so forth. i sell my woodworking, so I use pressure treated lumber and stain/waterseal with Thompson products.
