Not sure why everyone hates this ER. Understanding priority would probably help folks understand why wait times are long. I trust this hospital and ER with my health and safety. When you really need help they make sure you get it. Not everything is urgent and they make sure the patients who are get the treatment they need. I haven’t met one person who was rude or treated me bad here.

A 13 hour wait. People are called out of order. Very in organized. What a disappointment. It was great now it’s garbage

This place get's 1 star for the kind staff but otherwise our whole experience at the emergency room with was awful. We waited 11.5 hours to be seen and decided to leave as they still couldn't tell us when we would see a Dr. I was told at 2am that the room where more minor issues are dealt with closed at 6pm so you're waiting with all the other high emergency people and will keep getting bumped down the list as more people come in. (And yes I did try urgent care and they sent me to emergency). One nurse said that at the other hospital she works at, there is always a doctor going through the waiting room to get people with 'quick' problems moved through faster so they an go home. Why can't Beaumont do this?! Poor elderly people moaning in pain in the waiting room, cold and exhausted, left to wait for hours upon hours. Unbelievable. The woman next to me waited 12 hours, she had cancer and was undergoing chemo and had a suspected infection...seriously people. Do better!

I had the worst care ever... And it was dirty... I though at. John's was bad .. I think I prefer them .so disappointed and surprised. .
They have emergency neurologists available to see you, if it's needed, i.e. stroke like symptoms. Otherwise, if it's not emergent, you may be referred to make an appointment for follow up at a clinic.
Not Beaumont you won't be seen for hours!
Call the surgical floor if only you are a close family member. Perhaps you should only call the main telephone number and Patient services will be able to inform you what hospital room and telephone number for the patient you wish to know their status. Hope all has gone well for the person who underwent heart surgery today ☺.
It's Beaumont who has a non engaged staff who doesn't care about personal pain just their conversations!
