Every time I come here I am harassed and discriminated against. Even though I checked in at the entrance with my driver’s license, I was still asked “If I was an adult?” and “How old are you?” [Well past the age where it’s appropriate to ask this by the way.] This is one of my least favorite places in Lansing. I can’t wait for the East Lansing Aquatic Center to re-open. I would rather pay money to go somewhere else where I can enjoy swimming without being insulted and discriminated against.

Not inside the pool area but just outside is a pavilion with multiple grills and tables available. Also have a garden and two playgrounds. Good place to spend the afternoon.

The outdoor pools usually open memorial day weekend, but this year they are starting June 11th i believe and yes it is free to get in.
when you go to the pool you have to fill out cards with your personal information and as long as yournon file you can enter the pool with no hassel
