I have had almost 8 case workers in the last year since I’ve moved out here. Three times my cases have pended closure due to the incompetence of DHS’s. I’m dealing with this again currently. Have reached out to my case workers they were switching on me again in the last month since I’ve received my renewal. I have contacted supervisors twice now and some times I can’t even get an operator on the phone. I am fed up with stressing out over this and the amount of collateral damage it causes. I don’t know if the turn over rate is due to how employees are treated at their job or what, but this is too stressful and too much to have to go through constantly when the closure pending is due to DHS compliance, NOT MINE. I never had this problem before, until I moved out to this location.

Pathetic. Submitted my renewal forms last month so my benefits would carry over. Food benefits were supposed to load on the 11th, never did. Went in to find out why and resolve it and was told my caseworker has not "gotten around to it." She still hasn't. Always get her voicemail when I call, never returns calls and when I try to call to speak to chase mgr, never an answer and voicemail always full. Who holds these people responsible and how do I contact them???

They can assist you w/this.
DHS will help out, but it's not much, but anything helps you know. So sorry about your friend and neighbor.
They need to help better taking their time
You can do them online as well as I think you can find them online and print them off too
They mail it to you.
I went in yesterday to drop something off but I went in for an envelope and pen and spoke to the security gaurd. Their computers seem to be open for use.
Yes, right between the two front doors.
The address is 5303 Cedar St. The door number is door 4. And they have computers and they will help you apply
You can go see a caseworker and they can help you apply
Operator of what? The building?
Write or call your worker to let them know. Give them your case number, the name of the person who left, and the date they left. Workers have up to 15 days to process the change, and then it is usually another 11 days until the change actually takes place. (I'm retired now, but I was a trainer for MDHHS)
8:00am until.5:00pm
