Disgusting!! I wish I could give her 0 stars. I will actually be filing a complaint against her office for price gauging. We have been going there for years and she doesn't care about the patients at all, more interested in making $5. Also from prior experience left with a big scar from the procedure. Receptionist and staff extremely rude and don't care about anyone's time.

Horrible experience with long wait times consistently (45 min). I had a question on billing and the staff is basically unreachable as they overcharged my insurance for items not relevant for my visit. I question how valid these reviews are since I had close to 10 visits and each time was horrendous but I didn’t have the time to look for a new derm. Lowest quality service you can find.

*PLEASE READ. IT COULD HELP YOU* The poor rating is due to dr dele’s unprofessionalism, greed and dishonesty. I have chronic acne, which my previous derm helped me get under control w/accutane, retinoid gel etc. Unfortunately, i was left with dark marks and discoloration from the scarring. My previous derm (who doesn’t provide laser services) gave me names of 4 derms in NYC who specialize in treating people of color. She highly recommended Dr Michelle Henry, but i chose to go with dr dele michael because she is a fellow Nigerian, and i wanted to support her- biggest mistake-. At earlier meetings she was so sweet and personable. I explained my acne journey to her and told her that my derm sent me to her to correct the acne scars and discoloration. She told me thAt her laser treatment will take care of them, and she even showed me before and after pics of her clients, as well as hers when she claimed she had melasma during pregnancy. She then stepped away and her assistant Ashley came in and told me thAt my package will cost $6,000 and i have to pay all at once. She, nor dr dele went into details about how many treatment sessions it entailed, or if it will be ongoing till my problem is addressed. So i asked Ashley, but she did not give me a clear answer, and said that they are targeting to address my problem areas. I ended up having just around 7 visits in total. On the 5th visit(with my acne marks and discolorations still quite visible), dr dele told me that my package was coming to an end. Surprised, i told her that my marks and discolorations were still visible. The texture of my skin did improve, however the acne marks and discolorations minimally did. Dr dele told me that i only paid her for acne treatment and not for acne scars and discoloration. I calmly refuted her claims. In the presence of her assistant Olga, she kept arguing with me for about 20minutes, pretty much calling me a liar. I told her to check my intake form as it is well documented there. She even argued that i never wrote it in my intake form. I insisted they bring it, and when they did, it clearly stated; “acne scars and skin discoloration”. She read it and instead of apologizing for calling me a liar, said; “well you might have written it down, but thats not what you told me on your first visit”. Unbelievable! So i wrote something down during intake, and a few moments later during the same visit, told u something completely different?? She never apologized or completed my treatment. She told me that if i wanted to even out my skin by making my skin color shades lighter, i should pay her additional $9,000. I told her that i never asked to change my skin color; i just wanted to address my skin discoloration and scars that she agreed to address on my first visit, and that $6000 i already paid is too much money to forfeit. She told me that its not that much money and that she has much more expensive treatments. She gave me 2 more visits and then sent me home on retinoid cream(which ive been using most of my life), and glutathione pills (which did not address the acne discoloration/scar issue). She also claimed that the effect of the laser treatment will take time to show. Weeks later, i called to talk to her about my dissatisfaction, and she refused to speak to me or call me back. Ive called a few more times after, but her secretary and assistants say they will have her get back to me, but she never does. They also canceled all future appointments lol. I asked them for a copy of MY intake form ( for proof to my bank and BBB) but of course, she refused to give me the proof that will incriminate her. Ive since been going to Dr Michelle Henry, and I highly recommend her, esp if you’re a Person of color. She is very transparent, professional, very knowledgeable and world renowned. If u insist on going to dr dele, please document proofs just in case.

Dr. Dele-Michael was very nice. I went in for skin allergies and she did a skin allergy test that really helped me figure out what was causing my severe skin eczema. I recommend her highly! I am returning for DPN removal on my face as well because I see the amazing results from my friend’s DPN removal at their practice.
