I made a mistake of going to a different scrap yard and paid dearly for it, admiral scrap metals is the best scrap yard around.
Brandon Smith
Owners are awesome, very friendly and clean environment. I take all my scrap metal needs there.

Good afternoon, yes we do take those.
Thank you for the question! Yes we take lead acid batteries, like from you car and also Li Ion batteries from your cell phone or laptop. We do not accept household batteries (AA, AAA, 9 volt, etc.) or rechargable batteries from power tools. Please give us a call at (586) 254-1117 during our open hours of operation, and we will be more than happy to provide you with current pricing, and answer any questions you may have.
Not sure how much for motors and such but very good service and they pay more than most places for non ferrous and shred. Highly recommend them.
Yes you can! We pay 30 cents per pound for those cans ♻️
Hello. Admiral Metals does not handle or take vehicles at all. Also, Admiral Metals does not pickup from households or items like appliances, you must bring them in to Admiral Metals.
Good morning, we are currently paying 36 cents per lbs for wheels off the tire (non chrome)
One of the simplest test is take a magnet if it sticks its only steals make an inconspicuous mark somewhere in that way you can see if it's brass or if it's just a cheap metal but I've dealt with those guys over admiral and they're Fair guys are good guys
We do take them in for recycling here, however, we do have a 200lbs minimum requirement for payment. Please call us if you have any other questions. Thanks!!
Use to be 200lbs but seen less
I take metal there all the time. Shred steel is I believe .06 /LB. But you can call and ask what price will be for this. They will help. Good group of people there.
Depends regular metal is 6.5 cents a pound if it's heavy metal I think it's 10cents a pound
They don't take cars there
