My son and I visited this bar for the first time. Totally we ordered four different beers and they were all very delicious. Outside seating was clean and comfortable. Service was fast. We both loved the place.

I share feedback with the hope of other people’s experience being better. I will start by saying I went to 2 other Cap Hill bars that either weren’t serving food yet, or didn’t have food before coming to Elysian. One of the original bars recommended the place. I liked the exterior, and the very inviting interior. The bartender immediately came over to me, offered me a menu, and bought me a water. The place had a healthy amount of people, though not wild *yet. I asked his opinion on the wings, wrap, or burger. He recommended the wings. I should have just went with my gut. The wings were soggy, and over spiced with hot sauce (My opinion). It took 2 napkins to wipes my fingers from 1 wing. I slid the plate far-away from me, and you could clearly see 1 half eaten bone in the bone plate. I asked the bartender to place an order for the wrap. I was taken back that he didn’t ask why. Along with how the wings were. The wrap was decent. I believe my experience was already unfortunately ruined. The bar began to get busy, and the bartender was hurriedly attempting to keep up with the servers drink orders. I am not saying the bartender was rude, or short. It would have been nice to simply receive a friendly courteous experience. He was very nice to 2 regulars who were on both sides of me. I waiting for a bit for the check. When he came over to me, I without having an attitude shared I was surprised that he didn’t ask me about the wings that I did not eat, which were still sitting pushed away from me. He shared he thought I was taking my time with them. They were cold, extra soggy, and there were no uneaten bones. He seemed a bit perturbed that I bought it up. He did take them off of the bill, though again no personality, or pleasantries as he handed me the check. I tipped very handsomely, and it would have been nice if my service mirrored my gesture, even as I will most likely not visit there again.

One of the long awaited brewery I wanted to visit in Washington, because I used to opt for Elysian beers in many restaurants here and I liked it. So I wanted to try most of the beers and hence we went for 2 flights of 4 ounces each. And I must tell, that it has met my expectations. And to top it all, the food was amazing. I try to avoid chicken wings in places other than my favorite ones. But here it was worth trying it out. I liked the ambience and so does Carly. She was courteous with a happy smile on her face!

I was in the neighborhood looking to try some new beers on a Friday night so I stopped in. First impression it's a great venue with the brewery in full sight, good energy from the crowd in the room and a proper bar. Great service from a knowledgeable and welcoming bar staff. I had dinner plans so I got the pretzel to hold me over, delicious.

Yes. Also they don't split checks for parties above 6 people.
At the time I went there, the restaurant had just re-opened to in building dining. They used QR codes for menus, separated diners with empty tables and requested that all people use masks when not at the table. The wait staff were always masked. All in all, I felt reasonably safe there and enjoyed my time.
Just service animals.
Kate is right, at the front kids are okay. There are 3 booths (seat 4 squeeze 6), 2 6-seat tables, and one large 10 seat community table. So you could say about 8 tables total. (。•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧
It's being remolded so no one knows that the new inside will look like
