I've been trying to meet any staff who will help explain criteria for getting on a waiting list; & show me 1 BR model or AT LEAST be kind enough to give me a floorplan. This is my 5th year of getting NO RESPECT & NO RESPONSE. Treated me like a criminal & didn't even let me in lobby or reply to voicemail NOR sent any info by U.S.Mail. Certainly not what expected from a Christian affiliated entity!

When time comes, thisnplace would be a great contender

This place is very well managed and offers many wonderful services to make life easier for us seniors. All the residents I have met are pleasant & friendly.

Yes look for the "rounded building" its the main entrace.
There are group of people in Mayslake but they are in cluster area - people in group that live by their social security income or other people with more sources of income aside SS. My suggestion is do apply as it takes time, so the sooner you do this the better. They have advisors that can help you out which option is best and suitable for you. Good luck
Check out website.
Call Mayslake directly regarding all costs.
Yes
I do not know! I do not live there, I was only a caretaker there.
Hi Jim. My mother-in-law resides there. We absolutely love it! They typically open up application sessions twice a year. They usually lists these dates on their website. It took her about six months to get in from the time she applied. I see on their website that The Cloister Court Apartments are available, but I do believe those are more expensive. Please reach out if you have any additional questions.
They dont have models to show and more often than not all units are occupied. You have to go through the application process, once approved then you are shown available apartments.
I don't believe caretakers can live on site unless they qualify as seniors and would have to go through the application process with you. Most of the buildings are one bedroom units. The Cloisters have different size units so I would inquire if that would be possible there.
$1.25 each for washer and dryer. Total cost per load is $2.50. Each building has its own laundry room.
