As a former employee, this company is extremely hard to get a hold of for cobra benefits. I have been trying to get my bills paid through my cobra coverage and I cannot get a hold of anybody via corporate, cobra, or my health insurance company they are not not working all together

I live at the Thunderbird Senior Living facility located in Glendale, AZ. I have lived here for three (3) years. When I first moved in, this was a great place to live. In January of this year (2022), there was a rent increase. 7% to be exact. Now the company wants to increase the rent in November 10% or higher. It's not only the higher rent but the quality of life and the food have taken a nose dive. Stand in line for a buffet serving cold food and facility falling apart in disrepair.

I had to resign after receiving some devastating health news and no one even had the courtesy to speak to me. In addition during my time with them I was appalled at the lack of support and the low standards, especially after interacting with my regional director whom had no passion for the seniors only what she was buying next for herself.

My mother was billed for services that she never received. The local facility adjusted the bill to correct the error. Several months later she received a collection notice for the amount that she was over billed. The local facility has sent numerous emails to senior lifestyles with no response and I have left numerous messages at the phone number listed on the collection notice with no response. I am surprised that upper management tolerates this type of behavior from the employees in the corporate office.
