Awful customer service in self checkout. Just purchased groceries and the bag ripped while I was walking out. Asked the woman who was the line attendant if they had any extra carts around because my bag just ripped. She literally just laughed and walked away and stood watching me while I struggled to carry my purchase out. Really going to avoid shopping here unless I have to

They gave me a ticket for going across the street for something before going in the store. I was gone for 5 minutes, half the lot was empty, and I was not in a prime spot. Whatever, it's the policy and isn't that bad, but it just seems greedy to enforce it like this. The whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth and I don't want to worry about this kind of hassle when I'm running errands, so I'm changing my routine to go somewhere that feels like less of a shakedown. Also their fried chicken was a huge bummer whenever I tried it compared to other grocery store fried chicken (btw don't sleep on grocery store fried chicken, sometimes it's really good) Anyways, maybe they could tweak the policy so people who walk away from their car for less than X minutes before returning won't be ticketed unless the lot is Y% full. 1 star is harsh, but it's been one of the less pleasant experiences I've had as a customer and I can't really think of any aspects that redeem this place enough for me to recommend this location to anyone at this point, so I'm sticking with it.

This is to offset the review complaining about store closing at 10 p.m. Stores in Seattle and across the country are desperately short-staffed. Thanks to all the FM employees who show up and deal with the never-ending streams of customers every day. They don't like the long lines, carts all over the parking lot or empty shelves any more than you do.

This location is sufficient and average. Decent neighborhood grocery store. The workers are always super friendly in the self-checkout area. Haven’t had any customer service issues. And there are a lot of self-checkout registers which reduces the wait time. My only complaint is so many random food items are frequently out of stock. Not sure if this has been the same historically, as I just started going here, or if it’s due to shortages. But that’s a hassle. Otherwise, it’s okay
