Best produce and love the Big Buy Board for great deals. Also love how they have new items on sale and available. Employees are always happy and engaging. It’s my favorite grocery store!

4.5 stars. Love Ballard Market (now simply called Town & Country)! Best produce in the city, friendly staff, cool owners and tons of gourmet and natural foods populate the shelves here. Their sales are decent and their weekly 'Big Board Buys' offer 6-10 great buys, some, simply amazing deals. They stock lots of regional/local items and their bulk section rocks. Wish they had more stores! This is the only Town & Country market in Seattle, though they own 5 other markets in the 'burbs and the Islands.

I had to their gumbo last week and it also tasted really watered down.

Not the biggest, not the cheapest, but one of the very best grocery stores ever. Why? Everybody here cares deeply about the food and where it comes from; whether it's local, environmentally and sustainably grown, and whether it's good for you. Want more information? Just ask, and an expert will appear and answer every question in produce, meat and seafood. So, if you don't mind paying more for quality or limiting your selection to healthier, more environmentally friendly options, or if you'd like information that helps you make higher quality, healthier, more diverse and interesting meals, come here. You'll meet kind, well informed professionals ready to make your visit a success, like Molly in the 'Inspiration Booth' and Ron and his team in the seafood department.

I just saw some there this morning. It was in a specialty case near the wine.
Service dogs and miniature horses inside. All others permitted in seating area outside.
