Store manager, Angel, was less than an Angel to this customer!!!!!!!! I had a sensor left on a shirt from a location 1.5 hours away from me (an honest mistake). She REFUSED to take off the sensor even though I had the receipt for the item. She replied in a beyond rude tone, “I’d get in big trouble with my owner.” I had to get on the phone with the store manager from the Portage location saying she’s taken sensors off from ANGEL’S location. Angel finally took off the sensor, after saying some choice words to me. As a store manager myself, I will NOT be shopping at this location again. I hope this comment gets back to the owner, as they should take a hard look at the people who are running their stores. I almost left the item on the counter and gave it back to them, as there is nothing I can do with a $30 t shirt with a sensor on it. Lol,

Really overpriced, especially for what they pay people for their used clothes. You could search and find something unique and be justified in paying the price, but I've seen better deals at Tanger, especially with the way they price under armour and adidas, actually cheaper when on sale for brand new at the outlets. For example, I paid $15 for a new Under Armour hoodie at the outlet mall, for the exact same used one, Plato's wanted $18! Also, really creepy how they have "rules" put in place to prevent thefts. It's not that big of a store, there were like 5 employees in there and they act like they're in the ghetto or in NYC experiencing mob riots coming in to steal their fancy goods. Ok, only 6 items in a dressing room, but an associate came up to me because I had a few items in my hand and wanted to know if she could hold them for me. Sure, I wanted to try them on, but bc I was still shopping, she's holding them up front. So, then I have to wait to get them and the items, all on hangers, are thrown in a plastic bin she has to gather them up to bring to a dressing room. Then I have to hang 3 items on the outside until I've tried on the 6 allowed. Weird thing is they ALL had security tags, EVERY article of clothing in there does. Then, bc I didn't have or want rewards, they needed an ID for my $40 purchase on my debit card. Get over yourselves. It was a turn off.

Not for the staff, but for the resale experience. I went there to sell my Polo denim jacket. A new one from Polo website is $188. They dare to tell me that "the best original price that the computer can find is $25," and told me I could get $10 out of it. $25 for a new Polo denim jacket? Tell me where to buy and I will go for it. The "computer price" is just a joke, pretending to be "objective" while cutting prices like crazy. Unless you absolutely don't care about how much you get, selling on ebay would be a slower but better choice. Or just donate. $10 feels like an insult.

If it's gently used, a decent brand, and in current style, they would consider it.
You can bring in clothing and accessories anytime we are open, Mon-Sat 10a-9p and Sun 12-6, and we will go through them on a first come, first serve basis with no appointment needed. We are looking for teen and young adult sizes and brands which have been in the mall stores within the last 1-2 years. We ask that items are brought in freshly laundered, off hanger, and in a bin or bag for easy sorting. We accept sizes 0-6X and free of visible wear such as stains, rips and other condition issues. Once we go through your items, we are able to offer you cash on the spot, or a check if over $100, for anything we can purchase from you, and anything else will be returned to you. Hopefully that helps!
