Great location, safe town while road tripping. front desk gentleman (I think his tag said he was from nigeria) was great and I got to spin a ball for extra Marriott points since i’m a member- ended up getting 10k points!! Katie- the late night front desk clerk- was super helpful as well and gave us towels as soon as i ordered it on the app. The room was a little outdated with the old CD player and the bathtub had been repainted multiple times but after staying at some questionable places during a road trip this one is far better! Breakfast was also very impressive!

Staff seems nice but building is in bad shape. Black mold on ceiling In bathroom. Water damage visible all over the room. Very bad smell. Oddly moist carpet. There was someone else’s melted Chic fil a shakes in the fridge. Overall, doesn’t feel like a safe place to stay with the black mold and walls damaged looking all around.

2 stars only because of the gentleman at the desk being so helpful and accommodating. This is the 4th Marriott Fairfield we've stayed at in as many nights as we drive across the country. For some reason this one was booked on a Tuesday night, so we got stuck with the "last room" so to speak. While the room had the basics, it was not very clean. Here's the kicker though. The bathtub is leaking gallons a minute and has been for some time judging by the water damage in the tub. We couldn't shower because the water pressure would take your skin off. Also, because of the warm water leaking and the humidity (and possibly other issues) the bathroom ceiling is covered in black mold. Disappointing experience to say the least, especially because our other 3 stays were great. Many other negative reviews reveal that this is ongoing and the owner just copies and pastes his responses instead of offering compensation as should be required.

Not the best place. Needs updated. Get rid of the old CD player and plastic speakers in the rooms and leave the shelf open for storage. Thaw the freezer out in the mini fridge. There's barely enough room to slip a pack of meat in it due to the 2-3 inches of ice built up. Put in a smaller sofa. It's way too large for the space.

They do not allow pets. There is a hotel next door that does according to the front desk.
