This is the worst company, for over a week now and counting that our garbage has not been picked up even though as we have been promised on daily basis via phone that we were on schedule to get picked up. They have made false promises stating the pickup date but either the driver of the trunk or the customer service representatives are all incompetent to follow simple procedures. The worst part of this headache, the fact that we have contact another company so that we could change the service supplier. But unfortunately Recology is with contract at our location, Which this means we are stuck with incompetent company and it's employees that doesn't know how to do their job. Someone needs to step forward and do thing about this company. Disappointing and Frustrating!!!

Our driver in burien was extremely kind and went out of his way to grab my garbage can from my front yard one morning when I forgot to put them on the curb. Amazing customer service! Thank you!

It's one of the worst experiences I have had with any company for customer service and communication. They are not responsive and make it hard to speak to someone who works there who can help you with problems having to do with service. It's a shame they don't take pride in customer service and in responding to our needs and questions. We have a lot of skipped trash pick up where we live and there is no answer provided nor any credits given on bills. Paying for service that doesn't happen is dishonest.

A shocking poor emergency responsiveness. Sure the company cancels services when one occurs, bit it is terribly slow with service updates and keeping customers informed about restorations of schedule and collections. First its policies should be written in more positive terms. Not crazy happy talk. Just better, clearer action directives, more frequent updates that reflect awareness and timely status. We want a better way of knowing more, more specifically to ensure we're all coordinating to have our collections taken care of. Please keep trying to improve, people!

They do. However, you might be better off buying an old truck with the money you will spend. Ask the price and get a formal quote. I do not feel they were very clear with me.

If you are on Mercer island then yes! We will be dumping all commodities in new and old cans as we start the contract with the city of mercer. We will dump old then collect the cans as quickly as possible. All of us at RECOLOGY would like you and everyone to bare with us in this transition. And if you are not on mercer island, then yes just place your old can out and will collect it on your scheduled service day. Thank you for your patience
Yes. You can leave them out with your garbage can or cans for pick up and the driver should get them depending on if he is automated truck or not. You can also leave a note for your driver to please take with your garbage. They might be an extra charge for the item or items, bit I would ask your collection person.

No they do not. They just need to be in plastic bags placed on the recycle cart for collection
Brita water filters are not recyclable because of filtration system inside the outer plastic.
