We have used Shumate for many years and had great experiences each time. Lately their customer service seems to have slipped. We have two systems in our home. Both of them were just serviced under a preventative maintenance service. Today I have no heat on one side of our home. When I called Shumate I was told there is nobody available. I asked if they could come on a Saturday and I was told that they try not to work on Saturdays. Shumate no longer cares about the customer only about profit. They have ventured into other industries such as plumbing. They have grown too big to care about the customers that have helped them grow. I am taking my business elsewhere.

Bait and switch. Had an appointment to troubleshoot my AC unit for $97. Already had another company come out and quote a repair and wanted a second opinion. 1hr before the tech was schedule to arrive i got a call saying the price to come troubleshoot the issue was now $97+ $350 for a leak check. Other company did that trouble shooting for $89.00 including the 5 minute leak check. What a waste of time. Glad i took today off of work. Thanks Shumate
