The bridge is closed, so it is an in-and-out trip from either direction. Beautiful area.

The bridge is closed. 9/22. Spent an hour going back :) Still, beautiful spot. Looks like a nice place to spend an afternoon.

Beautiful spot. Very remote. Bridge is closed so our plan to do a loop on bikes was thwarted.

Is a bit out of the way, but just about everything worthwhile is. After 2 false trails (I was already working on my bad review), I found the actual trailhead about 20 yards back up the road from the parking area. Then, when the trail crossed the road and I couldn't find the continuation, I was once again thinking bad review, but I finally found it down the road a little ways. The trail is well marked, and seems to be well traveled. However, this trail is very rugged and is not for anyone with weak knees or balance. Especially the first half mile or so, you are walking over a lot of large rocks, some of which have a tendency to shift when you step on them. Be sure to wear good boots for this trail. And bring your suit. The area just above the bridge (closed to all traffic)(most traffic . . a large piece of road construction used the bridge while I was nearby) is perfect for swimming.

Badly damaged and probably no money in TWRA budget to repair ! You can walk across it though .
