My visit was a terrible experience!😕 Dr Chang needs to SLOW down and SEE patients as HUMANS, not just dollar signs. Everything negative that these patients wrote in other reviews was exactly my experience. I am fair skinned and red haired. I’ve never been to a dermatologist. Wanted a complete skin inspection as I’ve been really burned severely throughout my life. . She barreled into the room like a lightening bolt, clearly there to make some quick bucks. I felt zero care or connection. Nothing was explained and it was clearly just about the money! Weirdest 3 minute appt I’ve ever had.

I have been a long time patient and out of the blue get a payment for an outstanding bill from a third party collection agency. Keep in mind I have never missed a payment and never once did I get a bill for this outstanding balance. I received no phone call. I have received bills in the past and always paid them timely. The front counter girl mentioned this was a recurring problem and than I was transferred to an office manger who told me that they attempted to mail out statements but yet I never got anything. Keep in mind the front office girl just told me that this has been a recurring problem but the office manager said that was incorrect. They could have easily picked up the phone and called as a courtesy but nothing. The icing on the cake was the interest I was charged for never receiving a bill. I have never had a problem in the past with getting statements so obviously this is a recurring issues and the office is not addressing the issue. I have been a patient for 10 years and I was very disappointed in the level of customer service I received.

Dr Chang is Mormon like all of Shasta Ortho where her husband works They are all in bed together against you the patient and any other doctor who raises issues. They own the medical board in Redding. Its all greed to them. They also own a professional service who fights any complaints raised against them. I believe they are now in charge of Delta Dental There is no more avenue to Raise issues for patient care in Redding, CA

If I could rate her as a zero I would. I have seen her for three times now and should have not have scheduled the second & third appointments. She spent a whopping 40 seconds with each appointment with me & then charged me 750.00 for each exam. I asked Chang what should be done about two cystes on my face in the third appointment. Her response was to go home and lance it myself. I asked if she would lance it for me and her resonse was, "oh, just do it yourself." Honest, the appointments were all 40 seconds! Redding deserves better. RUN!
