It was a shop with an atmosphere that reminds me of Hong Kong. It was like being on the ground, such as ingredients and side dishes.

They have almost everything you need here but some of the workers here are rude. Most of them don't even speak English and when you do ask they will pull the “I don’t speak English” card. Customers are rude and don’t know manners (at least American store have more manners). They will cut you in line at the fresh meat section even when there’s people waiting for there turn. I rarely shop here but when I do it’s because they have what I need and it's close to my house. I like that they have a bakery and food court inside so when I do go I always order my favorite Taro Boba smoothie.
Update: They got rid of the Boba cafe inside and left the bakery and restaurant open.
You really have to know your products!! Some prices are high compared to other stores.
Also be careful of expiration dates and price labeling. Products are sometimes on top of the wrong price labels and they gotcha!!
Yes I purchased one. They keep them frozen. When I got and open it after thawing it completely I noticed the durian is over ripe from the affect of freezing.
They carry the single servings in the cafe bakery area, but they also have ALL the stuff to make and serve it yourself. I just bought some myself last week. Straws, the pearls, the tea flavor mixes. All of it
They carry a few fish powders, so it's worth a look. They have very limited dairy selections and only a medium Japanese selection, so while I am sure they carry kanikama, they may not have prepackaged chikama. You may have better luck at the Japanese market Noble Fish in Clawson.

Of course ,they sell real Asian products, and vegetables that are unique to the culture . It's like stepping into another world ,when you go there. You can get fresh fish from the tanks ,and some other fresh delicacies if you are daring.

Sometimes they have large squid, but frozen is more likely to be in stock. Seen frozen clams in the past, but supply chain means sometimes things that are usually stocked haven't been in stock for a while.
I'm not familiar with that item personally, but you can check the online delivery store to see if they sell it there. Could also be seasonal.

Shokupan bread...not really but close to it would be Hong Kong breakfast bread.
White Wolf out in Clawson, on 14 mile rd and main street has it. Or noble fish next door.
I'm not sure what mangosteen is, but their item variety is huge, and if I were to guess I'd say yes

When I went the other day- there wasn't much crab.
However, they supply the food to that Fuji buffet so they may have some soon. I would just go in.

It is likely. Most small Asian Markets sell arrowroot powder. A large one like this should also. I believe i saw it here before, but it was a while back. I am unsure if they still do.
Hmmmmm........I called the store yesterday and the lady I spoke with said they do not sell Shaoxing Rice Wine - only the salted, "cooking wine" version. So, either she was mistaken or what you folks bought is the salted, cooking wine which I am definitely not interested in but thanks for the replies. Still looking forward to our first visit to the store.
Yes, they do sell roasted whole pig. I believe the cost is around $170, and there's an additional fee if you want then to carve it for you. Obviously you'll want to place your order at least a couple days in advance, given how long it takes to prepare and cook.
