I mostly use 522 to go into Seattle. It's an hour bus ride and the buses come frequently. Lots of area for parking. Bus drivers are friendly and nice. It's within walking distance from lots of neighborhoods.

Never gets completely full. I park near the bus stop and have never had any trouble. There is a Goodwill donation spot in the very back. Two buses go to downtown Seattle, an express and a local.

Do you mean the maximum time? I've actually read the sign once (next to the last parking spot the bus passes when exiting the park and ride) while waiting for the bus, and I think it was 3 days (definitely more than 24 hours, pretty sure it was 3 days). I've definitely seen cars that didn't move for multiple weeks without getting ticketed though.
You can hire one. You will have to make all the connections. I recommend taking the 522 to Seattle and then taking the Link light rail.
