i just called to see if they could take a walk in by chance tomorrow and explained that if they couldn’t then i completely understood and it was no issue. apparently it was an issue with the woman on the phone cause she was pretty angry over the fact that i even asked this. told me that, “i don’t know how you even want me to help you cause we don’t take walk ins and have no open appointments, don’t know what you want me to do.” all i could do was hang up. not only did it embarrass me having that happen, but it also made me super livid to be spoken to like that.

I wish I could be reviewing the patient care I received. For all I know that’s just fine. However. As much as I wish I could, I’ll never get back the hours I have flushed trying to be seen. 2 phone calls with 15+ minute wait times to even talk to a person, setting up a new mychart, and well over an hour on the phone with the 3rd party schedulers was apparently not enough to ensure an appointment. Only after all that was I told I would have to wait 3 months to be seen. I then received a mychart message with an appt a few days away. As I had asked to be on the cancelation list, I happily took the appt. When I got there I was told that the appt had been scheduled incorrectly so I actually would not be seen. That was after waiting 30 minutes in lobby, of course. What?! The woman at reception was polite and apologetic which I appreciated, but the reason I made the appt is because I need to be seen. I’m still in shock that I left my appt without getting the help I need. So that’s another hour of my life down the tubes. I’m just so frustrated at this whole experience. Please, please, please UW- read the reviews and make the changes you need to so the people who need help can receive it.

Doctor Holland is the greatest. For at least 13 years she has done her absolute best to take care of my better half which I appreciate very much, as I love my wife and want her to be around to tell my great great grand kids about us. My wife's health has been improving under her care and advice. Doctor Holland is compassionate, professional, knowledgeable and interested in your well-being. Overall I am greatful with the care my family has received over the years at the UW clinic in Woodinville. As for me personally, I would like it if they could stop changing my primary care provider so often. But I don't have any serious health issues, so it's a minor inconvenience.

They are hard to get a hold of. Most of my calls are forwarded to the contract center even when the clinic is open. The contact center has always had a 20minute -40 minute hold which means that I can't get a hold of anyone during work breaks or lunch breaks. But when I'm frustrated it's me being mean and inpatient. They have problems meeting commitments when you are told you will get a call back. I once called for nurse advice and a week later I got a call back. The contract center cannot help because the messages they send DO NOT get answered. UW Woodinville neighborhood office staff and nurse advise staff are a barrier to receiving timely care. And they are not sorry that they are providing such a poor level of service. The office manager says a lot of pretty things to make people feel better but things are getting worse not better. I've had lab staff who "missed" a blood test and I had to come back in but they inly way to see the lab is after an appointment with a provider or with an appointment. I was told to just come in. I was meet by office staff who wanted me to make an appointment. After being clear that wasn't an option because I was told to come down and it was their mess up, did she check with the lab and allowed me to go back. The right hand doesn't talk to the left. And they talk even less to their patients. I do love my provider. I'd recommend her but she is already hard to get into.
