My 5 yo son and I were traveling via Uber when we stopped here so I had his car seat with us. I left it right by the door, at least one of the employees saw me do it. We were in the store for about 20 minutes and came out to find the car seat gone. When I asked about it, they told me they had just sold it since it was there "so long". They "apologized" but made excuses in the same breath. No solution or real apology was offered. I had to take my son home without a car seat. I can own my part, I probably should have verbally confirmed it was okay for me to leave it there. Regardless, shouldn't there be some sort of donation screening process in place? Especially for something as critical as a child's carseat? There are a million different things that could have been wrong with it, and yet they sold it to a parent having never even seen it before? I can't wrap my head around that. I'm disappointed because I enjoyed shopping at this store but I no longer feel like it's safe to do so.

I love shopping at Second Glance. I've never left empty handed as I can always find great clothing and home items. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Definitely check out Second Glance and be sure to follow their FB page as well. They do live shows selling merchandise which is always a great time!
