The best tex-mex in Metro Detroit. If you haven't gone, you have to order at least one "puffy taco". It's absolutely amazing! Their enchiladas are fantastic, and their sala & guac is top notch. The only thing wrong is they won't share their salsa recipe! Haha

HAD A WONDERFUL TIME Roaring fire, hot dishes and wonderful staff. I love el charro. Weather it is just for food or a celebration the staff makes you feel special. Love

How many know that El Charro puts Cheese on the sopapilla? I ordered sopapilla for dessert and it came flat with cheese and cinnamon it was gross. Never had cheese on a sopapilla until Elcharro and never will again!

The birthday person gets a discount based on how old they are for their meal. So if your 50, you get 50% off your meal.

Does anyone know if there is a place that has puffy tacos similar to El Charro near the Kalamazoo, MI area? I really miss their tacos and wish they had a location on the southwest side of the state.

To late to do this after you left when it happens call over the waitress and tell her. This is a thing that happens from time to time. not a complaint . Just ask for a new drink this one has a bug in it.
