2 stars because I did order the cake with a weeks notice and they took the order. I ordered a small 7" cake for my wedding day since I am postponing to a bigger celebration until spring. Today is that day. I sent a photo off of their instagram of what I wanted. I didnt get what I expected at all. I wanted a chocolate flood with drips on a barely iced with dark hue green and purple roses with an orange rose too with the nice leaves. I got a barely iced with weird drips, no flood, with what looks like obnoxious play-doh bright Sams Club roses with NO GREEN AT ALL. It had weird bright green birthday party dots? The roses were obnoxiously bright purple and orange. The leaves were small and blobish and theyre literally grey. Like "try the grey stuff" from Beauty and the Beast. I thought maybe when I got home and looked at it more I would like it, but instead the more I look at it the more Im disappointed and I just shoved it in my cold oven in the box and Ill let my now husband figure out what he wants to do with it. I sent an email and talked to them on the phone twice so I'm not sure if it was a communication issue, poor note taking, or they were too overwhelmed with orders? Im not sure, but this was supposed to be the cake we also freeze and eat on our one year anniversary but it will be a reminder of how disappointed I am. Maybe this will be a funny story in the future or just something we never talk about again. I'll just chalk it as a lesson learned. I dont want to share a picture because on their pages and instagram their work is great and I'm sure they can do it. It just didn't happen for me... on my own wedding day.

We chose Country Sweets Bakery to bake us our wedding cake. And I can honestly say that it was the best decision because the cake was beautiful and exactly how I had envisioned it to be! Not to mention it was absolutely DELICIOUS!

Country Sweets Bakery delivered the exact wedding cake we were looking for and it was absolutely delicious! They were very accommodating and even put a “dog bite” in our cake for the dog topper we included on it. We can’t wait to have our anniversary cake next year! Thanks again!

A picture is worth a thousand words but I'll just add... WOW. Not only did they deliver EXACTLY what we asked for but it was also DELICIOUS! When we tasted their chocolate cake we immediately thought... red velvet! So moist, so good! Thank you for literally putting the icing on the cake for our perfect day!
