I was just here a month ago and diagnosed with Strep throat and I have no complaints about that experience. But I just had to go again the other day and this Dr. Enas Ibrahim could not have been a doctor for very long… she barely spent one minute in the room with me. She stated, “It can’t be Strep if you’re throwing up.” I guess if you’ve only been a doctor for a short period of time you might not realize, but I know from experience (I get Strep at least once, sometimes twice a year) and my main symptom besides a sore throat is vomiting! She also made the comment that “If I have no fever, it can’t be the flu .” Now that, I don’t have experience with, but I didn’t trust her reasoning after being made aware that she does not know that vomiting is associated withStrep Throat. The medical assistant who took my vitals didn’t even ever check my temperature now that I recall! It was documented at 97.5 degrees, that’s a pretty common temperature to type out when you don’t actually know…I also pointed out a large, possibly swollen gland sticking out in my neck to which she quickly replied, “Ooo, yeah I can see it!” She gave it a quick feel to which I responded with a twitch in pain but she had nothing to say about it. Finally, she sent me home with 2, yes TWO, Zofran pills for nausea…..I was sick for 5 days. Thanks for nothing “Dr.” Ibrahim! If I do return I will NOT be seeing her!

There are 2 tewts you can take. The instant one which you get results withun 15 mins and one called something like CP (cant remember exact name. My 2yr old son has to take the more elaborate test before his MRI's every 3 months. So they would know once you ask them for the test that is more extensive, ill get the correct name of it and let you know) that one takes 24 hours. They give you a paper explaining when to expect results and where to call to get your results. Hope I was somewhat helpful. Best of luck to you and yours!.
