Very spacious library with "building long" view of woods on one side. Uncrowded while I was there on a Sunday afternoon. Personnel were very friendly and helpful.

Quite a big library compared to other Sno-Isle libraries. Large collection of all kinds of books and big kids area with space to stretch legs and run around while being respectful to others.

Friendly service, decent selection for browsing considering the size of the place and the fact that this is a rural library system. They have a number of PCs available on a first-come-first-served basis and allow free printing (up to 70 pages per week) which is really helpful. It is a smaller library so their meeting/study room options are severely limited (I think just one of each) but there are plenty of places to sit, with or without tables.

Yes, you can obtain a card on site. You will need to present a proof of address, so take a water bill, bank statement or any other document that shows your name and your address. You can also get a card for your other members in your household.
Click on the Online Resources tab from the Library's homepage, then select your subject and the database you desire. You will need to log in with your library card number and PIN.
If you have a library card you can put the book on hold through the website and then pick it up at your local branch when it is available.

Sorry it will be closed at Xmas eve
The Monroe library website should have the hours posted for you there. Unless something drastic has caused that to change I know that's exactly how I would find out when they opened and closed.
Your I.D. and depending what your requesting you may also be asked to disclose your S.S.N. There are several types of items you can be allowed to check out which respectively require more than a simple I.D.
