Placed a bid through Liveauctioneers and I was the high bidder. But when it came time for the item to sell online, the auction skipped my item completely and went to the next item. Then it said my item sold for the same amount that I'd bid earlier that morning, but that I was not the winner. Spoke with a woman on the phone minutes later. Her excuses were laughable. My Liveauctioneers bid was ignored. A waste of time.
My Dog Blaze
Completely unresponsive to emails. I reached out on multiple occasions and received no response whatsoever.

I wish I could be as happy as some of the below posters. But see I'm a seller. Been charged 35% (that's on top of the buyer premium - 60% odd in total) and now no one will respond to my emails when I've asked why so much???? So I'm sad and if you're looking to sell through them be very careful.....

Sell it !
I would call dumochell first.. Parking is bad and expensive. They just go online... you can do this yourself
It's a fabulously and extremely knowledgebly place to go for an appraisal of your items. I have bought and auctioned items and cannot find a a more prominent source in the Midwest as they maintain to be! An excellent place to purchase antiques and fine art.
Hi, if you are near us, please bring the piece to one of our shipping events - held every Wednesday and Saturday from 11-4am. Alternatively, you can submit photos to info (at) dumoart.com. Please note that we only speak French and English fluently.
Hi Judy, While we can't speak to whether or not we've handled a Sam Newton before, we'd be happy to perform an estimate for you. Our gallery is open from 11-4 on Tuesdays and Saturdays for consignment estimates. Please stop in - we'd love to see you! (and the piece)
Call Dumouchelle's and talk to them about consigning.
Good morning sir, Please see the email sent to you earlier today. The problem may be with your browser.
Hi Sondra, We have a sliding scale that changes depending on the value of the item sold. An appraiser will go over it with you during the consignment process. If you have any more questions please give us a call - (313) 963-6255 Thanks!
I believe the you need a different place like the Coin Cove
They will give an appraisal..but you should go to their website ..take a picture of your item send it to them they will contact you with further instructions if they are interested. Or you can take a piece or two to them but be prepared to spend a lot of time there...good luck.
There is no good time.. long waits, expensive parking and they usually just go on the internet to get prices.
Beanie babys are not valuable and are barley considered collectable. This place is for antiques. Just look under ebay listings. They made thousands of them.
They probably do.. check online before you go to get a ballpark price
Either go online or call them directly. If you go there , expect to wait and pay for parking. They usually just go online to find information on what you bring in
If suggest taking the bear to their gallery in person. They're usually open during the week.
My guess is the expert auctioneers know exactly how to do it.
Bring it in
Thanks for your advice, very new at this. But excited.
There is meter parking in front and all down Jefferson. Neither the less. How is parking their fault ?
No, I personally do not buy games, I recommend that you call DuMouchelle's with your question.
Dumouchelle auction house on Wednesday between 12-4 or call them ask for richard, and maybe you can email him a picture and he can tell you more about it
You can also take them in person on Wednesday or Thursday ...no appointments necessary they will do free Appraisals on 2 items and while you are there you can leave them if they accept them.
Absolutely. Best thing to do is to take it into them for an appraisal. Wednesdays and Saturdays are the best days and the appraisal is free. Suggest calling first
Contact the gallery directly for help.
Call the auction house to set up an appointment for appraisal. Speak to Richard.
I know many people who have had good experiences with them.
Call Dumouchelles and make an appointment to have your items looked at. Ask for Jim Flannery Sr. and tell him Andy Hack sent you.
Yes, of course
No but you can call to schedule one
They appraise items for free on Wednesdays and Saturdays after 11 am. Call ahead
Absolutely. They can sell them for you
Shipping can be arranged, however, I always make the trip to pick up my purchases. I think it is more than worth it when you consider insurance and shipping cost.
If you're in Detroit call DuMouchelle's. They are honest and knowledgeable. The best.
