Where is the parking? Is the lot still closed?

Amazingly this wonderful historical place has no entry fee but I guess they would accept donations if you wanted to give one

You can walk through in 90 minutes easily enough or some exhibits that catch your eye could draw you in for over 30 minutes individually Recently there with my sister and all quite interesting but some things may just call to you Probably different for everyone

The Detroit Historical Museum is full of exciting exhibits that help children learn about Detroit's rich history. The museum holds very special events throughout the year that are specifically designed for kids. Noel Night in December 1, 2018 includes a visit with Santa Claus and craft-making activities.

I do not believe that the people here will be able to help you with this. However you could call the museum and ask them if they have an expert on staff that could help you with that information.
