This man was not friendly, didn’t introduce himself, at one point while looking at my dads collection, asked me where’s the good stuff. (He passed away when I was two years old) We aren’t experienced and we drove a long distance to his shop based on all of the good reviews. We are also hurting financially and needed to cash the coins in as I had held onto them for many years. I would never recommend his shop to anyone. I guess he didn’t like us, I have brown skin and he was playing country music. I don’t what his problem was with us honestly. The person I spoke to on the phone was friendly and said we didn’t need an appointment. It was not the owner obviously. We didn’t have time or energy to go anywhere else so just sold to him. I usually do not leave reviews as if I receive bad service I just do not return but thought I should share as so many raved about his shop. He was by himself so could’ve been stressed but it’s still no reason for his poor service and rude words.

John's the best and gave me a better price for my coins than BRC quoted over the phone. Fast, honest, and friendly - couldn't ask for more!

OMG I love this place! John is a talented and honest numismatist with TONS of experience. He helped us with an elderly neighbor go through what ended up being a coin collection worth over $150,000 that our friend didn't even know she had. He was 100% upright, honest and trustworthy. It was a large (and heavy) collection and he was willing to come to our home twice to assess the whole thing so I didn't have to lug it around. He took his time and was thorough when sorting through the pieces but with his vast experience (and passion for coins), the whole processes didn't take too long. He has a wealth of knowledge and loves chocolate chip cookies. I much preferred working with small business owner over the other large group in the Seattle. To be able to compete with them, as a single owner of a small shop, you immediately know he must be reputable and reliable and trustworthy. I highly recommend John and Seattle Coin Shop!

This is a Dealer who is very knowledgable, honest and offers best pricing one can find in Seattle or the Peninsula based on our experience of over 7 years. Friendly and informative, John’s shop is the easiest to get to in Seattle also. Highly Recommend!

Sorry but I don't deal in modern errors.
Junk silver is pre 1965 and I have some. I don’t accept cards for payment and you may want to call first since I sometimes close for appointments. 206 448 2646
The only dollars we deal in are the 1935 and older silver coins.
Yes I buy silver bullion. The price will vary depending on the specific product . Please call for an updated quote during business hours.
I buy ungraded coins every day but I don’t buy errors or minor varieties.
Indian coins are not an area that I deal in much so I don’t think I would be a good resource for you. I deal in coins from many countries but I haven’t done much with coins from South Asia.
I don't have a need for those but thank you for checking.
Bring them in.
Condition is critical on that coin. Typical examples trade for $2500 to $3000.
Definitely gold. Not sure diamonds.
