northwest center employment EXERCISE IN GOING BROKE//job that requires federal background check federal building.i was compensated for waiting 3-4weeks,1st they said it would be 3-4weeks.apparently i passed background check.if they want people to apply look for people who live with there parents and WHO DONT HAVE TO PAY RENT janitorial job henry jackson federal bldg.ashely and assistant are big on being vague and officcating.which is the same as lying.they said the wait time was out of there control.WELL I >>WAITED 8+ WEEKS <<AND THEY(federal agency security)STILL WERE NOT READY TO BE PREPARED TO EVEN GET FINGERPRINTS LET ALONE START EMPLOYMENT!!dont believe renton northwest center when the say it’ll be 3-5weeks for your fingerprinting and start of employment .are officators

I worked for this organization and was wrongfully terminated and retaliated against. Nothing bothers me more than the fact that this organization claims to help people with disabilities, doesn’t allow discrimination in any way, and serve people of all abilities. In fact, I experienced the exact opposite. I complained of discrimination, I was fired 2 hours after asking to meet with HR to give a formal and written complaint. Not only did they fire me, they also said that I was the one discriminating against my own color/race. I was in complete shock. Imagine running an organization; you have an employee that you knowingly discriminated against other employees. Who in their right mind would allow them to continue employment. Guess who?! NORTHWEST CENTER! I know everyone reading this is like “yeah right” but I came with facts and receipts. For them to sit there and lie and say I hate my own color/race is beyond disgusting. They are saying I hate the color/race of my children, family, and friends. And won’t provide proof that I said this. They claim I said it to a African American HR director but they never had one during my time of employment, let alone any person colored in HR. My voice and review may not be enough to stop others from being put in my position but I will forever stand behind what I’ve said and leave reviews and call them out on their unethical, inhuman behavior. The whole board is filled with people of greed that have no intentions of standing behind their mission. Pay attention to the time stamped messages which will support retaliation and wrongful termination. Be extremely aware of this company and their TRUE INTENTIONS.

We tried to donate a childrens desk and chairs and they emailed me the day before saying they don't except that item. I told her that their flier states small furniture and what did they consider this to be...? She said do you want them to come anyway. I told her yes I had already drug it outside for them to pick up. They never came and didn't take it...Don't waste your time.
