I would never take any of my cars to Murdock again. My daughter had a horrible experience there. We sure miss Tischners and the genuine, honest people that they are.

I recently took my girlfriends car in to get it fixed, it was having trouble starting, the engine just wasn’t engaging when you turned the key. They called me a couple days later and said that they would need to replace the ignition switch and that it would cost $300 for parts and labor. They called on a Wednesday and said they would have the part that next morning and it would be done by Friday. I waited until the Friday after they said it would be done and called over to find out what was taking so long, they said that the car was done but the ignition switch didn’t fix the car. They ended up having to call ford and foes said to take it somewhere else. We went to pick the car up and they charged us $500, even after they said it would only be $300. They said they had put 8 hours of work into it. Before I took in I checked the ignition switch, it took me 20 minutes to completely remove and replace the ignition switch. After we paid them we took the car over to Payson lock and key, where they helped us immediately. The man looked at the car for 5 minutes and saw the problem. He claimed that it was a common problem in cars and that Murdock should have seen it immediately as well. He fixed the problem in 10 minutes and only charged us $35. I would never recommend going to Murdock ford to fix something on your car.
