My husband and I went to this restaurant for an early dinner. I had the peel and eat shrimp and the chopped salad. My husband had the half dozen oysters and the soup of the day. Our waitress seemed clueless. I asked for sweetener for my ice tea. That was forgotten until I asked again. There was no spoon or straw to stir the tea. Since I was peeling the shrimp and only had a linen napkin, I asked for paper napkins. Our waitress said she would have to go find something like that. My chopped salad was good sized and would have been good except the salad was drowned in salad dressing. I could only eat the top of the vegetables. I should have asked for dressing on the side. I won’t be back. My husband was not served crackers with his soup or oysters. He reported that the oysters were small and a few were slimy. He was pretty disappointed with his meal. When service staff is challenged with plate sizes on the table and seems forgetful or unsure where to get items the customer asks for, it might be better to ask their supervisor rather than say they have to find items. Maybe better training could have made our experience better.
